About Us

The idea for NoveLang started in the most natural place: reading a novel. We noticed that whenever a book sprinkled in a few foreign phrases, we often picked them up easily — not by studying, but simply by following the story. A word would appear once, then again a chapter later, and soon we found ourselves understanding it without even thinking.

That small realization sparked a bigger idea: what if a book were designed intentionally to work this way? What if a story could introduce a new language gently, at just the right pace, so readers could learn the way they learn best, through meaning, context, and repetition?

We built the first version purely for ourselves, experimenting with how to weave Dutch words into classic novels in a way that felt natural and enjoyable. The more we read, the more convinced we became that this approach could help others too.

Today, NoveLang has grown into a small, dedicated team of writers and natural-language-processing experts based in Fort Collins, Colorado. Together, we combine storytelling, linguistics, and technology to craft books that make language learning feel intuitive, engaging, and enjoyable.
